About the program:

The program includes the latest in research in chronic myeloid leukemia, including basic, translational and clinical research with an emphasis on open discussion among participants. There are also scientific workshops to discuss the latest technologies of value in CML research, and clinical symposia with focus on topics of interest to the CML community. There are special lectures on topics of general interest to the CML community from lead experts in their field. The program is designed to encourage discussion and collaboration among participants, presenters and attendees.

The meeting brings together experts in CML research and practice from all over the world, giving the opportunities to all attendees to interact, exchange ideas, review the most recent research and future plans for additional studies. The open interaction format provides an excellent forum to encourage collaborations and open discussion.

 

This meeting will be of interest to:

– Junior and senior biologists and clinicians (MD, PhD, MD-PhD)
– Residents and biologists still in-training
– Physicians and other healthcare providers managing patients with CML
– Researchers with interest in hematologic malignancies and myeloproliferative neoplasms in general, and CML in particular

 

Learning objectives:

– To review the most recent advances in our understanding of the biology of CML
– To discuss recent clinical data from clinical trials and their application in daily practice for patients with CML
– To review recent advances in oncology and hematology that may be of value to CML research
– To discuss recent methodologies in laboratory research that can be applied to CML research

LEUKAEMIA UK INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

 

INFORMATION AND APPLICATION FORM
The ESH Scholarship Fund is a multi-sponsored project designed to support access to new biological and clinical data in the context of lifelong learning in Haematology.
ESH independently ensures all scientific peer review and selection procedures.
ESH is also independently responsible for all administrative aspects of the Fund.

1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Fully trained, with a maximum of 4 years of experience since your first junior faculty appointment
• A Resident or PhD candidate

2. SCHOLARSHIPS WILL COVER:

• Registration fee (which includes conference materials, the Welcome Get-together, coffee breaks and luncheons during the conference)
• A travel grant to a maximum of 500 € (paid upon presentation of corresponding receipts).

The registration fee for the 25th Annual John Goldman Conference on CML: Biology and Therapy is:

– 600€ for fully trained
– 300€ for in-training (a proof will be requested to confirm your status)
– 300€ for Allied Health Professionals
– 730€ for corporate

 

ESH is pleased to offer BSH, DGHO and PTHiT Members a 20% discount on the conference registration fees.

 

This fee includes:
– Your seat in the Conference Room
– The conference materials,
– Welcome cocktail, luncheons, refreshments throughout the conference.

Your seat in the conference will be definitively reserved upon receipt of your fee.

Cancellation policy of registration fee :
In case of cancellation, up until two months prior to the beginning of the meeting, your registration fee will be reimbursed in full (less bank charges). If the cancellation is notified between 60 to 15 days prior to the beginning of the meeting, 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed (less bank charges). Cancellations notified 15 days before the meeting will not be reimbursed. For credit card payments please register on-line first. Please note that ESH can accept VISA, MASTERCARD/EUROCARD, AMEX and CB.
